"Mrs Hathaway, the Laundry, Wendlebury, has received unofficial information of the death of her son, Pte. Albert James Hathaway, Royal Berks. The news has been sent by a comrade, who states he himself helped to bury Pte. Hathaway, who was killed on June 28th. No official information has been received." Bicester Herald 06/07/1917
