"We regret to record the death of Pte. William James Russell, of the 23rd Battalion London Regiment, whose death took place in France on 16th September. He joined his regiment in February and had only been at the Front for a month or two when he met his end at the age of twenty-six years. His parents, Mr and Mrs W.H.
