Son of George & Ellen Smith, of Banbury Road. Formerly of the QOOH.

"Mr and Mrs George Smith, of Banbury-road, have received official intimation that their son, Tpr. Isaac Smith, of the Q.O.O.H., who had previously been reported missing, and later wounded and missing, is now presumed to be dead.
“Ike” Smith was a very well-known figure in Bicester prior to the time when he joined up, especially in football circles. He was nothing if not an athlete, and was for some seasons a very popular and useful member of the Bicester football team. With “Ike” Smith somewhere on the left wing the team generally fostered a feeling of security. Considerable regret has been expressed upon the receipt of the news. He was 22 years of age."
